UWTC CEO & Community Leader Luncheon

Wednesday, June 18, 2025 (11:30 AM - 1:00 PM) (PDT)

Description

This luncheon brings together elected officials, business leaders, and changemakers from across our region to connect, collaborate, and explore how we can build a stronger, more equitable community. We’ll present key findings from our most recent ALICE report (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed), which highlights the growing number of households who earn above the federal poverty level yet still struggle to afford life’s essentials. Today, 38% of Washington households live below the ALICE threshold—and we all have a role to play in changing that. Our goal is to create greater fluency around the ALICE experience and discuss how we, as leaders, can address the systemic barriers that keep families from achieving financial stability. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. There is no cost to attend, but space is limited—please register in advance using the link on our website.
