What does a 'New Patient Exam' look like? A 45 -60 minute discovery process with the doctor to not only best understand your health concerns, but to also determine the best course of healthcare to help you reach your goals. In this exam a careful health history will be taken, documentation of symptoms, bio-structural feedback (posture and bilateral weight scale measurements), thermal scanning, and if necessary spinal x-ray examination. About the shelter: Pear Blossom Place: A Family Support Community is the region’s largest 24/7 family shelter. In addition to 36 year round shelter beds, with an open ended stay, there are seven permanent supportive apartments on site. Our shelter includes six shelter rooms with bunk beds, private bathrooms, and small kitchens with cook top stoves. There are also onsite children’s play areas (indoor and outdoor), a community living room, laundry facilities, and 24/hour onsite support from staff and volunteers.
