FREE Narcan Training

Description
The Thurston County Chamber, the City of Olympia, and the Olympia Career Hub are offering another free Narcan training for local businesses on Tuesday, May 30th, at 2 pm.
Narcan, also known as naloxone, is a medication used to reverse an opioid overdose. The training is designed to educate local employees, especially those who work in downtown Olympia, on who is at risk, the causes of opioid overdoses, what an overdose looks like, and how to administer Narcan. Participating businesses will receive a free Narcan kit.
The training will take place at the Olympia Center, located at 222 Columbia St NW, Olympia, WA 98501.
