Fieldtrip time!!! Dress for walking on the beach, getting wet, and enjoying one of our natural wonders. 

Tour from 6pm-6:45pm. You can eat your picnic before or after. You are responsible for your own food.

"What can we find at the beach? Learn about the five zones of nearshore and shoreline habitat, the importance of estuaries, and the animals that live here. Next we’ll learn about beach etiquette and take a guided nature walk on Luhr Beach. Using binoculars and guidebooks, we’ll find and document the wildlife we observe." Bring a picnic to eat on the outside picnic tables. If the weather is cold, there is an indoor visitor center. Family friendly.
