Join us for the first convening of the Business and Education Network (BEN) 2026–2027 program year. Please feel free to bring a guest attendee who may also be interested in this event!
This event will have both in-person and virtual attendance options.

Representatives from the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries and the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction will help employers and educators understand work-based learning, student worksite, safety, and child labor requirements.
BEN Community Connections & Updates
There will also be an opportunity to briefly introduce yourself and share a little about your organization. Attendees are welcome to provide updates such as upcoming events, helpful resources, organizational news, collaboration opportunities, or requests for support that may benefit the broader BEN network and community.

The Business & Education Network connects leaders in business with education to better prepare students and create pathways to regional workforce opportunities. This team of people provides support and insight on industry needs of education, and support for the Business2Youth Connect initiatives involving education programs like Math for Life and Find Your Future.
At the Business and Education Network, we also routinely host “Employer Spotlights”. We will continue to invite local educators and businesses to join us and talk about the benefits of the industries that drive our region. We focus on the Career Pathways that the companies or industries offer, and what types of training are required.
