Mark your calendar for what will be an extraordinary event as the leaders of Thurston County unite to present the State of the Community Address on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 11:30 am. Join Lacey Mayor Andy Ryder, Tumwater Mayor Debbie Sullivan, Olympia Mayor Dontae Payne, Yelm Mayor Joe DePinto, and Thurston County Commissioner Chair Tye Menser as they converge to enlighten and empower our community.


Hosted by the Thurston County Chamber, this highly anticipated annual gathering promises an energizing experience, featuring insightful discussions on critical topics that matter most to us all. Recognizing the pulse of our community, topics will include the urgent need for affordable housing, strategies to combat the housing crisis, fostering high-wage job creation, and establishing robust connections for youth to mental health services.
