Join us for another great iTYP, our quarterly professional development session.
Influence Thurston Young Professionals is a Thurston Young Professionals (TYP) Program, and is returning on December 6th, at 5pm, at the Heritage Distilling Tasting Room. iTYP continues to connect TYPs with business leaders in our region around topics important to them. TYP is looking to help bridge the distance between entering into a professional work environment and the management and/or executive career paths.
This installment we have joining us, professional baseball player and entrepreneur, Stephen Vogt.
Stephen will be sharing on the topic of entrepreneurship and learning through failures and successes of a baseball career — diving into his journey through the lens of a professional baseball career and the lessons he has learned along the way.
Stephen Vogt (38) recently retired from a 15-year career as a professional baseball player. He competed both at the Major League and Minor League levels, having spent parts of 11 years in the Major leagues. Stephen graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Education in 2007 and has resided in Olympia for the past 13 years. He has been married to his wife Alyssa (Capital High School 2003) for 14 years, and they have three children, Payton, Clark and Bennett.
