Join us for the March convening of the Business and Education Network (BEN) and an inside look at careers in law enforcement and public safety, hosted by the Lacey Police Department. Please feel free to bring a guest who may also be interested in this event!

The availability of a virtual attendance option will be confirmed closer to the event.

Sergeant Jon Mason, Personnel and Training, Lacey Police Department
Attendees will learn about the pathways available to students and prospective applicants while gaining a firsthand look at the department’s new facility.

BEN Community Connections & Updates
There will also be an opportunity to briefly introduce yourself and share a little about your organization. Attendees are welcome to provide updates such as upcoming events, helpful resources, organizational news, collaboration opportunities, or requests for support that may benefit the broader BEN network and community.

The Business & Education Network connects leaders in business with education to better prepare students and create pathways to regional workforce opportunities. This team of people provides support and insight on industry needs of education, and support for the Business2Youth Connect initiatives involving education programs like Math for Life and Find Your Future.

At the Business and Education Network, we also routinely host “Employer Spotlights”. We will continue to invite local educators and businesses to join us and talk about the benefits of the industries that drive our region. We focus on the Career Pathways that the companies or industries offer, and what types of training are required. 

Join our meetings in person or virtually (when available): The Business and Education Network meets on the 2nd Friday of each month from 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM.
