
CSLO is bringing African-American History to life with a brief presentation by Jerry Whiting, who has amassed extensive knowledge of the Black Panthers in Washington State, along with his collection of music, photos, and art for an exhibit in the Friendship Hall. Jerry Whiting is hosting a conversation at CSL Olympia on February 21 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm Donations are welcome Jerry has donated 250 artifacts, including original photographs, posters, legal documents, books, magazines, and newspapers relating to the Civil Rights Movement, Jim Crow Laws, and the Black Panther Party. Also, Mosha Nelson (and others) are sharing African American art from her personal collection.
