We do make a big deal about Foofaraw\, and honoring our military is no minor matter. On Friday\, September 5th the Thurston County Chamber and the Olympia Yacht Club will host over 250 active duty military service members at Island Home\, a private island owned by the Olympia Yacht Club.Checking in at the Olympia Yacht Club\, attendees receive their transportation assignments and then head out to the island for a day of fun and games as well as a traditional salmon bake\, provided by Lucky Eagle Casino & Resort & The Confederated Tribes of the Chehalis.
