Influence Thurston Young Professionals is a Thurston Young Professionals (TYP) Program, and is returning on March 7th, at 5pm, at the Heritage Distilling Tasting Room.

iTYP continues to connect TYPs with business leaders in our region around topics important to them. TYP is looking to help bridge the distance between entering into a professional work environment and the management and/or executive career paths.

This installment we have joining us, Alan Shimamoto with Accelerate Growth Coaching

Alan Shimamoto is a business coach who helps business owners and leaders that want to empower their leaders to create more time, income, and impact in their business so that they can make time for the things that matter the most!

Having been an entrepreneur his entire career, Alan recently celebrated his 35^th anniversary as a business owner.

He has been married to his wife, Louisa, for 28 years and they have worked together in business from the beginning of their marriage.

He started his professional career as an independent insurance salesperson at the young age of 24. Within in a few short years, he was having huge success in sales.  Alan decided to scale his company by showing other agents how to duplicate his sales success.  

At 27 years of age, he bought the agency that had hired and trained him. At that time, he was able to remove himself from the field so that he could focus on creating more opportunities to grow himself and his company. At the peak of Alan’s insurance career, he led a team of over 400 independent insurance agents with over 40 sales agency leaders and office staff in 7 states. 

Today, Alan and Louisa have a coaching company, Accelerate Growth Coaching, were they help business owners and entrepreneurs with one-on-one coaching, group coaching, masterminds, corporate trainings, personal breakthrough, and team building events.
