1st SHIFT Volunteers are needed for the Governor's Inaugural Ball at the State Capitol Campus in Olympia from 5:30pm to 8:30pm on Wednesday, January 15th. Please review the notes below as well as the Volunteer FAQ to find more information about parking, dress code, and other details.
There are a limited number of Volunteers needed for each shift, so register soon! Being a volunteer is a demanding task, so we thank you in advance for contributing so much of your time, energy, and efforts.
SET-UP SHIFT Volunteer Opportunities:
- Check-In* (*Attendee attire required)
- Food & Beverage Support (stocking bars, ice, running vendor recyclables, etc)
- Miscellaneous 1st Shift support (greeting, handing out programs, wayfinding, misc other tasks)
ALL VOLUNTEERS FOR THIS SHIFT:
- MUST be 21+ years old with a current and valid ID at the event
- Receive admission to the ball AFTER your SHIFT- if you plan on entering the event after your shift you must be in event-appropriate attire upon entering as an attendee. Please review the dress code requirements listed in the Volunteer FAQ
- Are eligible for a letter certifying volunteer hours
